WW2 Kriegsmarine Minesweeper War Badge (Rudolf Reiling

Kriegsmarine Minesweeper War Badge of zinc construction, featuring an explosion motif above stylised water, enclosed by an oakleaf wreath and topped by the Kriegsmarine eagle. The reverse is marked RK, identifying manufacture by Rudolf Karneth. The badge shows heavy finish wear and patina with most silvering lost. The original pin is broken at the hinge and catch points, which remain attached to the reverse plate, and the cut-out construction is intact.
