Austro-Hungarian Officer’s Sabre – Weyersberg & Stamm / Trieb Wien (Franz Joseph I Era)

Austro-Hungarian officer’s sabre marked Weyersberg & Stamm, Solingen and Trieb Wien, featuring a gilt brass guard with floral openwork, black ray-skin grip with intact gilt wire binding, and a straight nickel-plated blade deeply acid-etched with the crowned FJIS monogram, double-headed eagle, and classical motifs. The scabbard retains matching gilt mounts and the original officer’s hangers, giving the piece a complete and balanced appearance. Condition is excellent, with intact gilding, crisp etching, and only light age-related patina, showing no modern restoration.
