South African Army Technical Services Corps Beret – SADF 1991 Issue

Oxford-blue wool beret issued to the South African Army Technical Services Corps in 1991. The badge features a flaming grenade over a gold ox-wagon wheel and open book-symbols of logistical knowledge and technical service. This example includes a red-navy-red beret bar and is stamped ‘Rifleman 1991’ on the interior, confirming issue to SADF personnel during the final years of conscription. The laurel-wrapped badge and bilingual scroll ‘Ons Dien Met Kennis’ were standard for Technical Services during the late Cold War period.
