Raf Officer’s Visor Cap – Royal Air Force

RAF Officer’s Visor Cap, Royal Air Force, dated 1953 and manufactured by J. Compton Sons & Webb Ltd., constructed from blue-grey wool with a black mohair band, patent leather chinstrap, and gilt RAF officer badge beneath the King’s Crown. The leather sweatband is embossed with size, date, and stores code 6C/1645, with intact golden satin lining and original fittings throughout. The cap shows light age wear with minor cracking to the peak and chinstrap while remaining structurally firm, clean inside, and displayable with sharp badge detail and undamaged exterior cloth.
