WW1 German Militärpaß Protective Sleeve – 2Nd Hanseatic Infantry Regiment No. 76

WW1 German Militärpaß protective sleeve named to Gemeiner Karl Lambeis of the 2nd Hanseatic Infantry Regiment No. 76, made in brown paperboard for use with a service pass. The front carries the regimental designation together with the handwritten soldier’s name, and the piece survives as a named sleeve without the pass itself. Significant wear to the edges, creasing, and light soiling are present throughout, but the regiment details and handwritten name remain legible.
