Luftwaffe Stamped Aluminium Collar Tab Rank Insignia – Early-pattern metal collar rank device formed from stamped aluminium with a fine cross-hatched surface and a small reinforcement disc at the point of the chevron. The reverse is fitted with two long steel attachment prongs for securing the insignia to the collar tab. The aluminium shows an even aged patina, with oxidation visible on the steel prongs, while the piece remains structurally intact.
