Austro-Hungarian Officer’s Sabre “Fjis” – Weyersberg & Stamm / Trieb Wien (Franz Joseph I Era

Imperial Austro-Hungarian Officer’s Sabre marked Weyersberg & Stamm, Solingen and Trieb Wien, featuring a gilt brass guard with floral openwork, lion-head pommel with glass eyes, black ray-skin grip with gilt wire binding, and a straight nickel-plated blade with beautiful acid-etched decoration incorporating crowned FJIS monograms, a double-headed eagle, and classical motifs. The scabbard retains matching gilt mounts with the Imperial cypher together with original bullion officer’s hangers. Gilding remains intact, the blade etching is crisp, and only light age-related patina is present throughout.
