French Army infantry officer’s kepi with a crimson-red crown, deep blue band, gold piping with quatrefoil knot, and a centrally placed gold bullion flaming grenade insignia, lined in black silk with a leather sweatband, preserved in excellent condition with strong color retention, no moth damage, intact bullion embroidery, secure chinstrap and buttons, and gentle interior wear consistent with light ceremonial use.
