Iron Cross 1st Class Screwback by Rudolf Souval – L58

Iron Cross 1st Class by Rudolf Souval, maker marked L58, with a convex disc backplate and raised 1939 date beneath the central swastika. The silvered beaded border remains well defined, while the reverse has a screw-back fitting with the L58 mark stamped on the domed backplate. Natural patina and oxidation are present between the arms and central device, with the silver finish still visible on the beaded frame and moderate handling wear throughout. This is the First Class cross, not a 1914/1939 Spange.
