Italian Fascist Cap Badge — Gilt Brass Fasces Emblem

Italian Fascist cap badge in gilt brass, formed as a fasces emblem with a projecting axe head and fitted with a rear screwback mount and hexagonal nut. The badge retains much of its gilt finish, with dark oxidation around the axe blade and central mount, while surface wear and mild discolouration to the reverse are visible from age and handling.
