Warsaw Uprising Shield – 1944 (Unofficial Commemorative)

Warsaw Uprising Shield 1944 unofficial commemorative, with a raised eagle and swastika above the Warschau 1944 scroll and a serpent coiled around a sword. The official shield was authorised in 1944 and never issued, and this piece follows that published design as an early postwar commemorative. The reverse has a vertical pin assembly. Aged patina sits evenly across the surface, with mild reverse corrosion and general wear, while the badge remains structurally intact.
