Wehrmacht Tricolour Helmet Shield

Wehrmacht helmet shield in stamped metal with diagonal black, white and red national colours. The reverse retains three pressed prongs for attachment to a helmet shell. Surface corrosion, oxidation and paint loss are present, particularly across the red section, while all three prongs remain intact and traces of the tricolour finish remain visible.
